Fit it to the camshaft or crank, put the piston in top dead centre, mark this point with a felt tip or a wire, put the bike in gear, turn the rear wheel backwards, then forwards and you'll notice the position of the crank on this gorgeous plastic dial!
If fitted to the camshaft divide by 2.
