BA

The BRITISH ASSOCIATION OF ELECTROTECHNICAL ENGINEERS invented these screws .
BA thread is used in electric stuff like dynamos, magnetos and switches.
0BA is the biggest size and you'll find on the mounting studs of Smith speedos.
2BA is the most common size and is about 3/16" in diameter (ignition covers of 60's and 70's BSA, Triumph and Norton, even doorstep covers of Rolls Royce)
